Education for a Sustainable Future
Project Information
The dream of Education for a Sustainable Future (ESF) is to equip students throughout the Nation with the skills, knowledge, character and vision to become productive citizens who contribute to a sustainable information-rich future.
The goal of our project is to realize this dream by creating, implementing and disseminating a collection of flexible, technology-based educational resources that support learning about the environment, the economy and social equity as it relates to a sustainable future and to provide professional development to support the use of those resources. Using an on-line template designed specifically for our project, teachers have created units for grades K-12 which infuse the use of technological tools to support student inquiry and systems thinking.
