Lesson 4: Metacognitive journal writing

Student Activity  (help)


Activity 1: Whole class discussion focused on each title character and the unifying theme in different poems. Activity 2: Students revisit the poem, "Eleanor Rigby." Characters from each poem are compared and contrasted to the title character. Activity 3: Journal writing: Each student recaps the activities of this unit and reflects on the process and learning gained from the activities.
